I am an artist born in Kostanay, Kazakhstan and raised in Virginia. 

While bridging function and design, my work is inspired by traditional Kazakh design, gendered objects, and the outdoors. 

 

I received my BFA in Craft and Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am currently based in Richmond, VA.
